Once we returned from to the hotel from the step show, we had a visit from my beautiful Aunt Sylena. Love you Auntie.

Varsity

During our tour of Atlanta, we had a chance to dine at a famous fast food resturant in Atlant called Varsity. This place is famous for its fried peach pie, hamburgers, chili dogs, and orange soda. Another attraction is the entertaing sevice. If you ever have a chance to visit Atlanta, please frequent this place and tell them I sent you.

This page is dedicated to my Chapter Brothers of Theta Pi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. Thank You for your support of the tours and to the Continentals of Omega Boys and Girls Club Keystone Leadership Program.

Our last junior college member is Tranesha Smith. She is the picture of the Continentals of Omega Boys and Girls Club. She has been a member since elementary school. She still attends now as a voluteer. She has been on staff and on the board of trustees. She is a sophmore, attending Solano Community College. She plans to transfer to Albany State in Atlanta, Georgia. Tranesha has been a big support to this trip, helping with all the little things needed. I have a great deal of respect for this young lady and her work ethics. This is a very serious young lady, not taking her life for granted, Tranesha, you are going to achieve your goals. Walk to people not around them. I can not wait until our chitterlings time.

Student of the Day

The next student of the Day is Demetria Robinson. Most call her "Mimi", I call her "Pieces". She was the first student I met when I started working at Solano Middle School over 6 years ago. She came up to me and introduced herself in her own unique way. You have to know her to understand her ways. She was about 11 or 12 and barely taller than my waist. Since then, she has been my shadow. This young lady is a creative, entertaining young lady. Demetria is a junior at Jesse Bethel High School. She is active in the Jaguar Zone and culinary academy. She has volunteered with the Feed the Hungry and Food Pantry Program at Friendship Baptist Church. She has volunteered with the holiday program giving food to people in need. She also participated in our visitation of the sick and elderly. She is a Delta GEM and has been a member since eighth grade. Mimi has joined us in touring colleges since the eighth grade. Her most outstanding quality is her ability to persevere through hard times and still keep her humor. Pieces, you are a special young lady with a great future.

Student of the Day

Our next student of the day is the strong, intelligent Shairee Skinner. This young lady has been around Keystone as long as I can remember. She is a legacy member of Keystone. Her sister, Britney, was a 5 year member and is currently attending Prairie View A&M College in Prairie View, Texas. Shairee is carrying on the family tradition following by participating in Keystone. She is alos interested in obtaining a degree in forensics just like her sister. Shairee is active on her school campus participating on the cheerleading team and the Jaguar Zone. She has volunteered with the Food Pantry Program and is active with the Delta GEMS of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. Sharee, you have so much potential. We are looking forward to seeing you as you blossom and grow. Look at your destiny, claim it, and live in it. Look around you, watch and learn. Know that you are special to us.

Our student of the day is Lounique Williams, a senior a Jesse Bethel High School. Lounique has been a member of Keystone for about three years. She has been a member of the Boys and Girls Club since her elementary school years. She has participated on the soccer team, Black Student Union, and the Jaguar Zone after school program.
